A hand-made book, this project deals with the notion of historical and personal memory. Its pages contain imagery that is cut, erased, distorted, blurred and incomplete. The manipulated photographs range from historical editorials, to satellite views and pictures of my childhood.
Each image, though manipulated, has enough of a hint that it connotes a certain feeling or lack thereof. When leafing through its pages, this book provides no linear narrative—just a series of provocative fragmentations aimed at questioning our own memory of history and our place within it.
